This area of the At Home project relates to the integration of refugees into Greek culture. Our goal is to help refugees in practical ways through mentoring. A committee of three people with refugee coaching experience gather weekly to assess individual cases that have been referred to us and then take the necessary steps to help those families or individuals with their needs. We do that by guiding them on how to progress in the city of Athens and helping them make connections with people and places in the city that will help them develop their skills and knowledge. Every family that takes part in our housing program has a mentor that meets with them twice a week and helps them create weekly goals and action steps to integrate and thrive in Athens.
